Education Mini Grant and Education Sponsorship
Missoula Conservation District offers an education mini grant up to $500 and an education sponsorship for organizations and school programs that provide educational opportunities and increase awareness and interest in natural resource management, agricultural science, and conservation issues in Missoula County.
Examples of programs and events funded through district education grants and sponsorships include:
- Natural resource outdoor education camp for low-income students
- Pollinator education program and museum display
- Adult education workshops
- Outdoor classrooms
- Natural Resource Youth Camp
- Range Camp
How to Apply:
Education mini grants and education sponsorship interested applicants, please mail a letter of interest and funding request to the district office. Letters and requests are reviewed by the Missoula Conservation District Grants Committee and decided by the full Board of Supervisors at the regular monthly meeting. Therefore, please submit your letter of interest well in advance of the monthly meeting to allow time for sufficient review and to be added to the meeting agenda. Applicants are often asked to provide a brief presentation of their project and request to the district Board of Supervisors at the meeting.
