Low Stress Livestock Handling Workshop Featuring Curt Pate

In September 2017, Missoula Conservation District and Bitterroot Conservation District hosted renowned stockman Curt Pate in Victor, Montana. Mr. Pate demonstrated and discussed concepts of low stress livestock handling for improved grazing during this field based workshop on a local ranch. This was a concerted effort among Area 5 conservation districts: Lake County Conservation District hosted Mr. Pate on September 18 in Charlo and Deer Lodge Valley Conservation District co-hosted with Granite County Conservation District on September 20 in Gold Creek.
