Environmental Marketing Grants
Temper of the Times Foundation offers grants of up to $15,000 for nonprofit organizations to underwrite the costs of advertising designed to promote the conservation and restoration of native wildlife, plants, and ecosystems in the United States. Applications are due December 15. More info here.
Montana Conservation Menu
Check out this new online menu of conservation programs available across the state. The Montana Conservation Menu was developed for landowners interested in implementing conservation practices on their land and is brought to you by Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Montana.
2018 DNRC Natural Resource and Range Youth Competitions and Camps
Missoula CD sponsors Missoula County students to participate in the Montana Envirothon competition and to attend DNRC natural resource and range youth camps. Camps include Montana Range Days, Montana Natural Resources Youth Camp, and Montana Youth Range Camp. Learn more about these DNRC events and camps here.

Farmer Field Days
Community Food and Agriculture Coalition’s Farm Link Montana hosts free hands-on workshops and tours for farm hands, farmers, and ranchers on the third Wednesday of each month, May through September. This year’s Farmer Field Days focuses on marketing techniques and processes. Check out the Farm Link website for more details and to register. The 2017 season is now closed, but check back for more opportunities in 2018.
Free Science Education Posters
Missoula Conservation District has several Montana-based science education posters to give away. Poster topics include pollinators, range lands, and invasive weeds. Contact us for more information or stop in the office to pick up.
