The Missoula Conservation District and the Missoula Valley Water Quality District Advisory Council will host a joint meeting to hear a presentation of the Channel Migration Zone study that has been in the works since 2018. This study examines the migration history and potential future paths of the Clark Fork and Bitterroot Rivers through Missoula County. Karin Boyd with Applied Geomorphology and Tony Thatcher with DTM Consulting will be presenting their methodology and findings at the joint meeting of the Water Quality Advisory Council and Conservation District Board. This special meeting presentation will be focused on this topic and will allow time to go into a more in-depth discussion. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.
